FOUNDER & SKIPPER, TOM BRAWN
"I’m Tom, founder and lead Skipper of the Odyssey. Sailing classic wooden yachts was merely a childhood hobby until in 2015, after a few uninspiring years spent working in an office, I quit my job in IT to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a professional skipper. It was the best decision I ever made. In 2016 I gained my Yachtmaster sail certification at UKSA and have been working all over the Mediterranean as a charter skipper ever since. Along the way, I have experienced some of the best the Mediterranean has to offer.
The Odyssey is the culmination of everything I have learnt, and is my love letter to my favourite place on earth.
I spend my off season scouting exciting locations to share with new and returning guests, helping out with my family marquee hire business and travelling the world. I hope you’ll join us and become part of the Odyssey story!”

HARVEY HUGHES
“I’m Harvey, your chef, host (and DJ!) - I began my career in kitchens aged 12, at my father’s restaurant Manchega, in Ripon. During my school years I grew more fond of the atmosphere and buzz of professional kitchens, and soon turned my hunger and drive into a mission to work in the best restaurants I could find.
When I was 16 I began an apprenticeship at the renowned Grantley Hall 1 Michelin star hotel kitchen, under celebrity chef Shaun Rankin. After 18 months learning everything I could, I decided that it was time to up my game and began working at Mark Birchall’s 2 Michelin star restaurant, Moor Hall, which at the time was rated as the best restaurant in the UK.
Fast forward another year and after meeting through mutual friends, I began cooking for Tom! Thus began a great friendship, collaboration and a whole lot of flavour!”

Odyssey was lucky enough to host Caroline and her husband and in law's for an amazing week’s sailing in Croatia 2024
As well as becoming good friends, by the end of the week we had also decided to join forces..
Starting in 2025, we are delighted to announce our collaboration "Pilates with Caroline" as an optional add on to your charter!
When she's not sailing with us, Caroline runs her own highly successful studio https://pilates-life.com/ so as long as her schedule allows it, she can be available for all or part of your trip, just let us know!
