OUR VESSEL TIERS EXPLAINED

We believe that choice is a good thing! But we do understand that to guests who may not have sailed before, the range of options available can be intimidating.

For this reason, we divide the fleet that we have access to into three distinct tiers, so that whatever you’re looking for, we are highly confident that we can find a vessel that you not only love, but that meets your requirements as a group.

Please don’t think of our standard offerings as basic though - all of our vessels are carefully selected for their comfort, style and sailing ability, we just felt the need to introduce some further levels in order to cater for clients that were looking for those extra mod cons.

Without further ado, here is a little more about our vessel tiers and the key features that differentiate them..

Standard:

Think of our standard tier vessels as our opening pitch to you - we sail these vessels often and love them for a reason.

They include all of the necessary features required to ensure a fantastic weeks sailing - double cabins, toilets/showers, dining area and two sails. Everything you need!

Pro’s:

  • A more modest price tag

Con’s:

  • Slightly less space above and below deck

  • No air conditioning (cabin fans located above your bed instead)

Premier:

Our premier vessels are our most popular, and represent the best price to feature ratio.

Whilst they don’t normally hold more guests by numbers, the guests who are present will notice significantly more space on deck, often with larger dining areas, and extra sun lounging spaces on the bow, as well as fly decks in the case of Catamarans, but also below deck; crucially in their cabins and the toilets/showers.

Another huge advantage to premier vessels is that they all include air conditioning. We recommend speaking to Tom about whether air conditioning would be a must for you, as it can greatly depend on the time of the season and how you are with the heat.

Pro’s:

  • Best overall value

  • Much more space above and below deck, which is sometimes especially appreciated with by larger groups

  • Air conditioning

Con’s:

  • The only downside would be the slight increase in price, however we have found that for the features provided, our clients think it’s worth it!

Premier +

Think of our Premier + vessels as, for want of a better word, the “fancy” boats.

They include all of the above and more - more space, cabins you can really swing a cat in, larger areas to relax and bigger, ensuite toilets/showers.

Some of our Premier + vessels aren’t too far removed from our Premier tier, and some of them are significantly bigger, so whilst they are more expensive, they are not Superyachts and are selected to be accessible to our clients - combining our trademark personal service to vessels that are that little bit extra.

-

We treasure all of our bookings equally, and deliver the Odyssey service to all of our clients no matter which vessel they choose with us, but we hope that this serves as a useful guide to the kinds of vessels that you can charter with us.

The easiest way to get started is to have a chat with Tom, who, having sailed all of these vessels over the years, can go through them with you in more detail and provide you with a range of options to peruse.
